Cool! I thought I’d read that the Eurekaprom version did that, but wasn’t sure about UNO.

Probably not, though I don’t know how much better UNO4Kemper is at that. The FCB is one-way communication. The Uno chip can be set up to “fake” 2 way communication, by sending Stomp messages at

Agreed.....in addition to programming the FC to the Kemper I don't think it's going to be possible for it to reflect F/S on and off statuses when changing patch/preset.
Your thoughts?

Re: Roland BK7M
Sounds like I'll stick with the UnO4Kemper & FCB and sell the FC200. Shame tho as its a well built bit of kit! I assume a proper in depth midi knowledge is required then.
Can only just find time to do

System Exclusive is not really too difficult once you understand the concept and how to read the reference tables. What is usually more difficult is finding the right software to convert to the MIDI

CORRECT!
“The BK7M is and the MIDI implementation document is actually quite extensive.”
If you can suss out the MIDI

Thank You Rolf, for digging up that document. If you ever succeed in finding specific documentation of the sysex messages required for the BK7M, please post that info in the files section. Maybe

Attached is a document that explains the Roland mini SysEx implementation. Don't try to become an expert in SysEx programming or checksum calculation. First you need a program to send the commands,

I recently did a lengthy study for someone on the L6 Helix forum on how to get the Helix to call presets on the KPA. Only piece of MIDI equipment

If you could attach the actual manual and send it to me at my personal email (bluesrock13@...), I’d appreciate it! I’ll add it to my collection of obscure and discontinued tech. Thanks!

Also, Roland is not alone when it comes to short term and poor product support. Fortunately we have forums like this to fill in the gaps.
