The following assumes that you are using the stock FCB Chip (not UNO):
The EXP pedals have to be configured in every preset.
You have to select a preset before the pedals become active.

Thank you so much for the info, but the problem is with the new Boss Rc500.
I had the 505 and it worked ok with the chip.

The FCB-505 firmware just sends a hardcoded MIDI message with each switch press/release, it doesn't contain banks, it doesn't require any setup, so there can be no problem with a MIDI interface.

Thanks to all of you for the advice on pc software. I echo the sentiment of the free software route when possible but know when it's time to pay to get results.
On free software, midi wrench is good

I second (third) what the others say - UnoControlCenter is brilliant. I'm reluctant to spend on software to do things I can probably somehow do for free but this has been totally worth it.

EJ Speaks the truth. I couldn't use my FCB1010 until I got UNO Control Center.
I wasted more time trying to save a few dollars than I care to admit. Time I will never get back.

Re: Quit VST plugin responding to FCB1010 - Cubase 10.5 PRO
Muting tracks is a Cubase function. Changing presets in a VST is a VST function.
Cubase likely listens on Ch1. Set your VST commands to send on CH 2, and set the VST to listen on CH 2.
Can't tell you

Re: Volume pedal starts at -db
Thanks. EJ Sheldon You put me on the right track. The global setting in HXStomp was already set to per preset all I had to do was set the main output volume I required per patch and save it at that.

The type of programming involved with using the UNO2 Chip Editor vs the Stock or UNO chip using the UNO-ControlCenter GUI is night and day. The UNO2 Chip is fully programmable, but you're using actual

Your email is confusing but you have to have a value programmed on the switch to auto learn it. You need to know if your device wants to auto learn a CC or PC message then program the switch then
