Re: Update chip from a v1.1
From what I read, old firmware is pretty buggy. My guess is that if you unplug the MIDI cables it will go much faster. I had problems with Active Sense on old firmware. Best if you order newer

Re: Update chip from a v1.1
Great update, thanks! I'm happy to read that, even tho it doesn't work how I hoped it would, it doesn't have any hardware issue.
When I talked about saving, I was talking about the FCB1010 itself,

Great, so it looks like my device is having a problem :/ Saving a config takes also a loooooong time, I read it should take about 3 seconds when mine almost needs 20 to save (with the countdown).

I found a copy of the old Behringer firmware change log (we are talking about >20 years old firmware !) :
So the v.1.x firmware didn't have this sort of weirdness yet ;-) It just sent all CC

Re: Update chip from a v1.1
FWIW - you can make the older stock chips work like toggling CCs by setting BOTH CNT 1 and 2 to the same CC# with the Value of CNT 1 = 0 and CNT 2 = 127 (or vice versa. The first press sends CNT 1,

You must be doing something wrong, but without more details (gear specifics, methods you've tried, DAW etc) it would be hard to figure out.
This sort of thing is a piece of cake on a PC, but I can't

Re: USB Midi control
I recommend you look at Bome MIDI Translator Pro as it allows for MIDI routing and works both on Mac and on Windows PC.

USB Midi control
I have a standard rom in my FCB1010, connected via a Nektar midi hub to my Mac. This works perfectly for DAW control, but now I want to route midi from fcb1010 to an HX Stomp. The HX is USB midi

Re: Update chip from a v1.1
Eureka if simple midi and programming with just pedals although you will not be able to use momentary for things like sustain pedal.
UnO with UnO control center for most that don’t do

Re: Update chip from a v1.1
Thanks for the tip, I should be able to remove the old chip.
Now, for the new one, which one do you recommend?
- Stock Behringer v2.5
- EurekaProm III
- UnO or Uno2
- other one

Well I read that somewhere else so decided to try a TRS cable with the FCB relays and that didn't work either. Unless when I use that I need to configure the fcb differently.
It would be better to
