You asked about Sonar 8, then said Cubase. I know nothing of Cubase. I use Sonar X2, which is descended from Sonar 8. Switching tracks is possible using the FCB in Sonar X2, and probably in 8, though

It doesn't matter which (0 or 127) turns it on or off. The stock FCB chip doesn't do toggling, so you need two buttons either way. TH2, if I remember right, takes 0 to mean "status change". If it's on

Odds are that your interface won't work with that editor. Assuming that it's the $5 ebay/amazon type with silver cables and a black capsule thingy with a treble clef logo, it should work with ControlC
