USB Midi control

I have a standard rom in my FCB1010, connected via a Nektar midi hub to my Mac. This works perfectly for DAW control, but now I want to route midi from fcb1010 to an HX Stomp. The HX is USB midi connected and works perfectly with DAW. However, I can’t get the FCB to control the HX.
I have tried configuring midi routinf via the Apple MIDI utility, and I’ve tried to route to signals via a DAW, however, none of these are solutions are working. I don’t think this is a problem with the FCB, but I’m hopeful there are a few helpful midi nerds here that may have some input and experience to lend. The FCB works fine if connected via midi to the HX. Thanks for the helpful software btw! I’m happy to support your efforts. Michael |

I recommend you look at Bome MIDI Translator Pro as it allows for MIDI routing and works both on Mac and on Windows PC.

You must be doing something wrong, but without more details (gear specifics, methods you've tried, DAW etc) it would be hard to figure out.
This sort of thing is a piece of cake on a PC, but I can't imagine it being all that difficult even on a MAC. Attached are screenshots of the configuration in two DAWs, LIVE and REAPER. |
