Now that the files got moved around a bit, I can't seem to find a
howto to use stompbox mode with a vamp . . . does anyone have a pointer? -Dave |

Ok, I'm going to assume that there *is* no howto . . . and start RTFM'ing.

Dave,
Sorry nobody replied. I have not seen such a document. Take a look at the PodXt example...? The controller numbers are different of course. But, It might give you some ideas... Good Luck!! mike r --- In fcb1010_uno@..., David Frascone <dave@...> wrote: RTFM'ing.

Getting closer to having something working . . but I have several questions:

1) I set up stomp 5 to be a tuner, which, on my vamp, is preset 127 (128). It works, and, when the vamp receives a second press, it actually goes back to the preset you were on -- which rocks. How can I make the light stay on when I press it the first time, then go off, when I press it again? 2) I set up stomps 1-4 to be different control changes. I'd like the first press to send the on change, and the second press to send the off. I used CC1 and CC2 for the two numbers, but I think I did something wrong. Also, I'd like the led to stay on while the effect is enabled. Is this possible? And, finally, I'm using the ripwerx editor till I get the hang of what I'm doing, then I plan on learning the riverdance . . Thanks in advance, -Dave Mike Riley wrote: Dave, --

Dave,
There is a common answer to several of your questions... With UnO, the "toggle" functionality is not achieved by using both CC1 and CC2 as with stock Behringer firmware. Rather, UnO supports a toggle selection and companion alternate value for both CC#1 and CC#2. So, you could toggle two parameters with each press. Anyhow... go into Ripwerx's Preset View Options and make sure you enable "Show CC Toggle Options". Then, for each of your stomp presets, disable CC#2 and enable toggling for CC#1 - providing the alternate (off - 0) value. Once your stomps are set up to toggle in this manner, they will exhibit the push-on, push-off behavior you desire. And YES! Learn the riverdance too! For me, I now setup my own FCB plus one used by our piano/keybaord player (Roland). It's impractical to set these up by hand (foot) except for the most simple change. So, I now keep an old, obsolete, yet tiny laptop in my gear bag. I pull it out and hook it up for all but the most simple changes during rehearsal. But, I keep the programming guide on hand and maintain those skills. Good Luck! mike riley PS: When you are finished and happy with your setup, think about posting it in the Files, HOWTOs, Applications section. For the next dude... --- In fcb1010_uno@..., David Frascone <dave@...> wrote: questions: 127 (128). I have:

1 - Drive (on/off) 2 - FX (on/off) 3 - Reverb (on/off) 4 - Tap 5 - Tuner (on/off by sending the program change each press) I also toggle a control change on 64 to make the light stay on (I use a value of zero which should NOT affect the tap setting) But, I haven't gotten tap tempo working yet. I send a Control 64 with a value of 127 with no toggle . . . but it doesn't seem to work. -Dave N. D. wrote: I use the stompbox with: --

I got the tap working -- I was sending a 127 -- I changed it to a 65, and it works fine now :)
