Uno 1.04 or EurekaProm 3?

Got a 2nd FCB1010 (for free). I'm used to the Uno f/w (1.02 or .03, I forget) on my other FCB but have been also considering the EurekaProm v3.2 for the 2nd FCB. The only thing stopping me is that there's no PC editor for the Eureka and everything must be done with (ughhh) pedal presses. It seems more powerful than the Uno though. Opinions?

If you're using one of the devices that it's pre-programmed for, it looks great.
If you're using it for something else, such as DAW control, then know in advance exactly what you want each pedal to do in each mode (write it out!), and push your pedals till it does what you want.

Questions I'd ask would be:
Once I've got the PP Mode set up, can I DL the configuration and restore it later (in case a factory reset is required)?
Can it send a Stomp configuration on preset load?

That's all I can think of off hand. It looks like a really good upgrade, IF the PP configuration can be saved/restored. Otherwise, if that's the mode I'll be using most, I'd stick with UNO.

any plans for a migration of this group ?  the last write date is 10/21, only three days away.

they delete everything, I think, in December.

i'm just moving off the standard eprom to this uno firmware, so I could use the support.

I have 2 FCB1010s,  One with Uno and one with EureakaProm.  I like them both for different reasons.
Most things can be controlled by EureakProm  in PP mode and programming is not too difficult.  However I cannot get it to send any CC with value of 0. Only 127. In my opinion this is a severe limitation. With that said, it does have an IO mode which make it act like a dumb controller and with a program you can even control the FCB lights and  7 segment display which you cannot do with UNO. 

You just need something on your computer to convert the to the message you want and in IO mode it is not programmable at all. I do all of my programming in IO mode with Bome MIDI translator.

The Uno is nice if you have Uno Control Center Software.  I use this most of the time. Programming the tap dance method is a pain, like the stock FCB Behringer prom.

I can get mine to use a 0 value. I use the FCB1010 to control a Beatbuddy and one of the cc messages for a transition is CC113 to go to the next part takes 2 values. The first value is 1-127 and it will stay in a loop until it receives a 0 value. I can program one switch. Tap it once using CC113 with a value of 127 and then Tap it again using CC113 and value of 0. Now I have the stock chip and I just ordered the UNO chip V 1.0.4 so I hope this isn't going to be the problem. I want to change the switch to momentary instead of latching is the reason I ordered the chip. Is this possible?

Uno and Stock FCB will send 0 value of CC. Just not EurekaProm 3.
