Further to my previous post requesting some programming help, rather than bombard people with my lack of experience in this area - can anyone recommend a basic/beginners online course/resource for me to learn the basics of programming language please?.

There are countless videos on YouTube that will teach beginner programming.  The UNO2 syntax is a bit different than a generic language like C or Python, but the basics apply.  I wouldn't recommend a generic 'programming' tutorial, as those can be long winded and... well.. great for putting you to sleep. 

I'd recommend learning a modern language just to get the basics down.  Try out CodeAcademy.  Their free course should get you going with all the basics.
