I think one can buy a licence for the control center V2 on the Website of ossandust:
FCB/UnO Control Center for the Behringer FCB1010 or https://www.fcb1010.uno/
Von: uno@fcb1010.groups.io <uno@fcb1010.groups.io> Im Auftrag von GeeNelly via groups.io
Didn’t realize I wasn’t buying it from the Creator…

Ossandust is not normally rude. Depending upon what exactly you said, the bottom line is that you chose to buy the chip from an eBay pirate to save a few bucks over buying it from the creator, so you can't expect him to offer support. You might start by actually buying the chip (and the editor) from the creator. |

The editor on my old laptop was not your control center app, it was a different. I did offer to pay for a license and still would. I sent you the pic thinking I bought the chip from you back in 2014. How the hell would I know if I purchased an offering on eBay? You seemed to accuse me of piracy of sorts and I take offense. Then I sent you a link to eBay showing you an UnO Chip that someone is selling and asked if it was yours??? U later replied a blank email to me. Look, I’m just a musician trying to get my rig going… What happened to good old days of ppl helping ppl??

I do plead guilty. I have responded to this gentleman in a way which could be perceived "rude" if you try hard. This was not because of what the gentleman claims here ("I asked him if I could pay for the control center") but because (apart from sending a picture of a pirated chip) he pretended he had ControlCenter installed on an old PC and tried to get it installed on a new PC, making me search for a non-existing license. Unless I totally misunderstood him. His exact words were : "I am trying to reprogram it but don’t have the laptop I originally had the editor on. How can I download it? My info is below. Gary Nelson (Old Info) [snap : address] [snap: email address] or [snap :another email address] or [snap: yet another email address] I’d really like to get the program again" I do have to add I honestly was not quite as rude as this gentleman who found it necessary to call me a "fucktard" (whatever that may be :-) because I choose not to reply to his further emails |

So, I bought this board back in 2014 on EBay. I then purchased UnO chip also from EBay. I’ve recently went back to trying to get the two to work together. I emailed the gentleman who “makes” UnO chip explained when and where I bought it and asked him if I could pay him for the control center. He was quite rude and it never went farther. I honestly thought I purchased it from him. I’m just a musician trying to get this thing working right. On the Blackstar board years ago a gentleman was quite helpful. I live the amp and the board is supposedly all powerful but I’m frustrated.

You just described why you need to get UNO_ControlCenter, and why I for one, won't even TRY to help you unless you do.

So, I am trying to get my fcb1010 with UnO mod to worok properly. I don't have a gui, so I've been trying to program it using the board itself. I have some questions...
If I have UnO installed, am I correct that even though stompbox mode is selected, that when I press on switches 6-10 (which ive configured for the stompboxes) that they too will send Program change, and other messages just as if it was a standard patch in the preset? I am looking to have 5 favorite patches and the ability to turn off the effects for each patch. The frustration I encountered is that I'll get the patch to where I "think" is correct, when I step on a stompbox, it seems that it sometimes turns the switches on, even though I (think) ive programmed them off. in the initial preset selection. Ive torn whats left of my hair out in the meantime! ex I select preset 5 in patch 00 I have the switches turned off, etc but when I perform a "stomp" for an effect, sometimes the switches toggle. back on. I also had/have some trouble with the expression pedals. |
