How to turn FCB stomps on with UNO chip v.1.0.4 ? #wanted
Rosen Canev
Hi dear community!
Recently I bought UNO chip v. 1.0.4 and trying to control some stomps on TH-U Overloud. I am new to MIDI, so It's difficult to me grasp some basics. I uploaded My.THU.syx file to ControlCenter Editor but I don't know how to program with it. I've read many user guides but still nothing comes to my mind. 1.How to turn stompbox mode on? 2.Manually from the board, or through the ControlCenter Editor? 2.I 'd like to have 5 stomps / controlled by TH-U Overloud on upper raw and 5 presets on lower raw. 3. How to program these 5 stompboxes with ControlCenter Editor? For example, I'd like - delay, reverb, Wah-pedal, compressor, chorus on upper raw I know that that they have to be learned from TH_U but when I uploaded My.THU.syx file to the editor, I could change only presets from FCB1010 board. See pictures below. |

Hi!
I turned stompbox mode on manually from the board, then programmed button # 6 manually to control delay /power - on/off/ on TH_U. Everything was working fine, but then I was tweaking some setting and suddenly everything disappeared. Should I program button # 6 / or 7, 8, 9, 10/every time manually? How to do it with ControlCenter Editor? The delay CC# is 111 |

The answers are here:
https://fcb1010.groups.io/g/uno/message/8163 I even included a working ControlCenter sysex for TH3/THU. More answers here; https://www.fcb1010.uno/ Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the User Guide (manual). It even has pictures! After reading the referenced thread, installing the sysex (which I'll attach again here), and perusing the manual so you know how to use ControlCenter, if you still have specific questions I'll be happy to address them. However, and I don't mean to be harsh, I WILL NOT retype the very excellent manual. |

You said you were "tweaking some settings", but you didn't say where. The FCB or the TH_U ?? I'm guessing the TH_U.
Another fairly wide open statement, "everything suddenly disappeared." I assume this to mean you couldn't use the FCB to control the delay. Please correct me and be a little more specific in the future. This is probably where I should say I don't know anything about the TH_U at all except that it's an Amp modeller, but the only way control could suddenly stop is if you removed or changed that control somehow, or changed the MIDI channel of the TH_U. I assume you tried tweaking the settings back where they were at first? |

"I assumed this to mean you couldn't use the FCB to control the delay" - YES.
MIDI channel of the TH_U hasn't been touched. Thanks! |
