Looked at videos for both Cantabile and GigPerformer.  Cantibile's video was quite ancient, but looked decent, if a bit... busy, with setup being a bit involved.  GigPerformer just flows. I got it right away and it seems so.. intuitive (was looking for a better word there - intuitive just sounds a little lame..).  Think I'm going to try it out.  Thanks for the recommendations!

Gig Performer is definitely more "visual". It reminds me of an older VST Host called "Plogue Bidule".
I suspect that Cantabile has more "Power User" features, but also has a steeper learning curve.
