Uno1 questions

Chris Astles

Hello all. I'm considering buying an Uno, mainly to take advantage of the 'momentary' function.

I'm curious to know, how are these features activated on a pedal?

Also, with the Uno 1.0.4, can the banks be deactivated to allow the UP and DOWN pedals to function as regular pedals?

Thank you for the info EJ. How do you connect the Uno to a computer to do this programming?

This one is known to work:

https://smile.amazon.com/iConnectivity-mio-1-out-MIDI-Interface/dp/B00CO5IRSG/ref=sr_1_20?crid=2225EL4EJ0YPX&dchild=1&keywords=midi+to+usb&qid=1607363642&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=midi%2Caps%2C206&sr=1-20

NOTE that there are lots of cables of this type available. Not all of them will pass sysex data. I have two seemingly identical, much cheaper cables. One passes sysex, the other doesn't. Unless the device is KNOWN to work, it's a crap shoot. The cable above is known to work.

Ah, I have a MIDI to USB, I thought there may be some special connection required for the chip itself. Since my last message I've found some manuals so no further questions. Thanks for your help :)
